As reported in the Pink News article this video, which depicts how gays can be ‘cured’ or ‘scrubbed clean’ of their sexuality, has been slammed by LGBT people and groups worldwide and of course within the UAE as well.
Great clip on the Queer (Gay) Rights movement in the USA over the ages.
So the wealthiest get wealthier and taxes have been considerably lowered for them since the Reagan administration.
Great quote from him “Conservatives believe in the ties that bind us; that society’s stronger when we make vows to each other and we support each other. So I don’t support gay marriage in spite of being a conservative, I support gay marriage because I am a conservative.”
Colombia’s Constitutional Court has ruled that the country must extend marriage rights to same-sex couple within 2 years.
“The Colombian Congress must create an equivalent of marriage for gay couples by June 20, 2013, or else couples will automatically gain the right to go to any judge or notary public to formalize their union, according to the ruling. The country already offers civil unions, which grant almost all marriage rights.”
Apparently the recent allowing of civil unions in Brazil may have accidentally opened a loophole that allows for same-sex marriage as according to Brazilian law people in these unions (originally for opposite-sex couples) can upgrade their union to marriage. A judge in the Sao Paulo state agreed that same-sex couple could also upgrade their unions.

There was just one minor tweak before they passed it: now, it only applies to K-8.
So, the very thin silver lining is that at least it won’t apply to high schoolers.
Because to discuss Ellen DeGeneres and Tchaikovsky with anyone who has not yet reached 9th grade is to put them in mortal danger.
